scribBles - Newbie Testimonials - (11/04/08)

It’s been days (weeks perhaps) that I’ve been frequenting this certain local site. It’s some kind of a forum site actually and I must say, as days progress, more and more people seem to have gotten into it too. I dunno, perhaps it’s just mere curiosity or say, one of those i’ve-got-nothing-else-to-do-but-check-out-this-latest-stuff-online perks one has but hey, online ads do make a difference at times.

Having found out about it through some bulletin post in the Friendster site, curious little me got hyped again and so.. off I went on click click click..

So there I was, almost hooked up on it. The site, I mean. It’s sooo effin kewl at first. I can say whatever I wanna say online –in a sense, jot down thoughts in which I’ve felt or thought that were okay on those moments– I therefore post them there. Mere opinions weren’t really much of a big deal at times but they were still accommodated and well, somehow accepted as time progressed. I have to admit, it was fun. It’s like an interactive blog kind of thing wherein you can share stuff that most people don’t usually do. It’s like an online group dynamics session. Opening up certain memories, sharing whatever one’s thoughts are as of the moment, and debating (and reaching conclusions) on whatever issue is being discussed, and all those stuff that people don’t usually talk about –those are stuff that usually happen there.

However, the downside part is, one must somehow be a little cautious when sharing some stuff online. I know, most of us are somehow blessed with this so-called privilege of freedom of expression but one must also be responsible to whatever one posts online –may they be thoughts, pictures, videos, and whatnot.


All in all, this certain forum site actually caters not just to artists in the local scene but as well as to those who are interested in art per se. To wherever this forum site would lead, much more attain its foremost goal, I do hope they’ll reach it. As to where it is standing, yeah, it is in progress. And so far, more and more people (like me) are getting hooked up into it, too. Cheers !!
