Was introduced to new wave in elementary which triggered my fascination with anything that has to do with music.

Was vocalist for a local band in the 90's.

Was part of the local fanzine Undertone during the late 90's.

Became a Dj early 2000.

A member of the local label HotboxRP Records.

me,

I've been influenced by my uncles from both my mom n pops side early

my uncles (twins) on my dads side were in a glam rock band (jj barn)
rocker and one of them used to own a music shop in plaza jaro (music mine)

on my moms side my uncle was a wannabe dj in the early 90s (though the only gig he got was in our house in antique playing technotronics and eric b and rakim vynils he brought from the states)

I started playing fo'real in highschool with my first band Botmotic

now I'm with The Monthly Period and Drive Letter (on indefinite hiatus)

I don't know how to read and write music, I can't even play a single chord
thank god for Fruityloops haha

I'm proud to be a part of the production outfit (KUB) that payed Ilonggo bands for playing original music (Play for Pay)

I am a supporter of Ilonggo talents and those who support Ilonggo talents (gig organizers, zines, radio shows)

I am happy that this forum exists, Iloilo needs this

I also accept labada on weekends

ako si alibata, aka unicohijo,dresdendoll,igitboy,cornelius,robot,igit,superpancit,noodles...ako ay isang simpleng mamayanan na naghihirap sa isang mahirap na lugar. ang iloilo...hindi nyo ako kilala. ako ay isang ordinaryong mamamayan na naninirahan ng matiwasay sa aking maliit at mukhang basura na bahay. wala akong may ipinapakitang galing o husay sa musika o sa kahit ano mang bagay. ginagawa ko lng ang mga adhikain ng aking utak para mabuhay sa maliit na lungsod ng iloilo. uu, magtatanong kayo, bakit nagtatagalog ako...eh hindi ko rin alam kay ang bal an ilonggo ako. wala lng akong magawa sa buhay katulad sa karaniwang araw katulad ngayon at sa karaniwang oras tulad ngayon. hindi naman importante na may mapulot kayong aral sa mga sinusulat ko dito, sa gayunpaman lahat na ito ay hindi importante. itong sinusulat ko ay ginawa na parang hangin lng na dumaloy sa inyong mga kuko at hindi na babalik muli, madaling malimutan, hindi mahawakan...parang isang yeso na sinusulat sa pisara at sinusundan ng pambura o parang tae na naflush na nag mac arthur pa!! bumalik yung kaunting tae para sabihin "huwag mo akong iflush, sa katawan nyo rin ako nanggaling, ganyan na ba kayo mag trato ng mga tae??"...sana naaaliw kayo sa sinulat..cge.hindi ko alam bakit napadpad ako dito sa site na to...ako ay walang kwentang tao...palaging lasing, wala trabaho, walang kwenta, walang magawa sa buhay kundi gumising, mangulangot, pumunta sa banyo, maligo,kumain ng kahit ano (take note...kahit ano), tumae, pumunta sa mga lugar kasama ang mga kaibigang wala ring magawa sa buhay...mahilig ako sa musika, pelikula, paglalakbay at kung ano pa...may banda rin ako dito sa mahirap na lungsod ng iloilo, kagaya ng ibang banda, tumutugtug kami para masiyahan ang mga malulungkot naming puso at para mapasaya rin namin ang ibang tao, kahit malungkot kami...kasi mga emo kami, hindi kami pwede maging masaya kasi kung ngumiti kami at maging masaya eh hindi ko alam kung ano ang mangyayari, di ko pa kasi nasubukan...kasapi po ako ng rock ed philippines iloilo chapter...ang gusto ko lang sa aking buhay ay mabuhay na may kabuhay buhay...may tanong lng ako...kung hindi ka masaya sa buhay mo ngayon, bat di mo subukan sa kabilang buhay??? baka doon masaya ka...magpakmatay ka nalng kaya??? sa mga nagbabasa nitong sinusulat ko type nyo sa cellphone nyo PUNGGOD <space> ON...and send mo sa 99 mung mga kaibigan..kung hindi..pag gising mo ang ulo mo ay magiging isang tagyawat na malaki na may nana sa loob...at pagpumutok ang tagyawat na yan sigurado patayka...at mamatay ka sana sa cacornyhan!!!!!...cge...wala na akong masabi...

about me... i love music. one of my greatest dreams is to go to the Glastonbury Music Festival in the UK...and it wouldn't hurt if I can also go to the Reading/Leeds Festivals.
