She's so smart. She's so wise. She gives me advice. We talk very often, but when we have the time to talk, she talks as if were really close. She understands me, and stand by me when my dad is freakishly angry to me. She offers help, but I reject it. She's such a powerful mother and individual, and she almost runs our family. My mom is known to the people around her, before she's a respectable somebody in the community. She can do almost everything. She cooks great and she likes to experiment with the cooking. She did an Apple Juice Adobo. Do you know how to do that? *wink* My mom is a proud mother, and she tells us that she is happy to have kids like us, although I know I'm such a pain in the ass. She may be irritating when she nags but sometimes, I like it when she pushes me. She has encountered a lot of obstacles in her life, and she withstand to them all. She 's a Ph.D. in UP Diliman, and that is why I admire her the most. She's an intellectual--a person with confidence, with pride, and a breadwinner. She's a loving mother. My first teacher. My first friend. My first idol. She's my mom.

*things that i hate about my mom that makes me wanna pack up out of the house:

... she nags (always)
... she's too traditional (me=choke)
... she's a pessimist (always looking at the negative side of everything)
... she's like a lawyer (interrogates me everyday)
... she thinks that i am not trustworthy (when in fact, it should be her who knows me better)
... she's very particular with expenses
... she's hard to be pleased
... it's hard to ask for her permission
... she's over protective
... she's moody
... she's super strict
... she's not that understanding
... she acts as if she knows everything
... she's always right
... she has the last words in every conversation
... she's a police woman (and i am her detainee)
... she makes things complicated.
... and a whole lot more!!!

... she's my mom - transparent - true - unique - a nagger, whatever names i may call her, still it pushes me to a single conclusion: I LOVE HER.

too bad you can't choose your mom... ayt??

but now matter how shitty some kids think their mom is, nanay mo na! gamayan lng na mapatay sng gin bata ka... sng una tak-an man ko sng ari pa di si nanay, pag lakat ya sa saudi, gusto ko nga ari di xa...
