FYI... News about Dondi Ledesma

I just received news that legendary bassist DONDI LEDESMA has already passed away just a few hours ago...

Dondi is from Iloilo... he has played for ASIN and lots of other local artists... Not to mention his groundbreaking works in solo bass guitar and his solo projects.

My sincerest condolences...

When I was in Manila for a month my Hubby and I watched one of his shows in this small bar in Makati Ave( sorry can't remember the name ),
he was really rock and rollin' and I wonder where he gets his strength from.
After the show, he slowly approached our table and of course I offered him a beer. After a few gulps and a couple of chit chat he excused himself and said this Line " Ah dali lang , mabaligya ko anay CD , pero mabalik ko ".
Gosh......... he sells his own album......... ka cool sa iya..... ka libot libot sya sa bilog nga bar.......... and after that, he went back to our table and talked about our good freinds in Iloilo and asked us especially about the Music scene in Iloilo............ This is just one of my few eccentric experiences with Musicians Like Him...............

one of iloilo's pride... you will always be remembered sir dondi. you are one of the reasons why we should be proud that we are ilonggo...
