Sa mahilig sng easy listening music kg medyo jaming type sng tukar o my pag ka fussion nga 2kar, im recomending you to chek out this band...they will blow your mind ....auys ni cla.. great musikeros ...mga mentors gid sng iloilo.. suportahan ta ni ahhh......

ok... thnx sa inputs; as it is, i do stand to reason nman... will see that band later cguro... as it is, i'm hoping i get the chance to watch gr8 musicians playing gr8 music... parang bihira sa Iloilo yun meron jamming place/bar for jazz/fusion/R&B enthusiasts eh; tho i could be wrong...

most bars bi diri have "house bands"... like tijuana for example, they have a lineup of bands that play... i haven't heard pa sng lugar diri nga open session... before sa Jen's nga bar sa CPU lapit, the stage is open. but now close naman sila bla... i saw sa Metal Mania nga "free jam" sa mga may bands... i think we have one place their. as fas i i know, since pag start sang tijuana or any other bars diri sa iloilo, daw may banda na gid da nga naka schedule to play... there are r&b, jazz, world music themed bars di, pero piped-in music man ang ga tukar...

nice point, Indus... amu na ang experience ko di; tho i stil think, if more venues will be open to "cerebral music" (i.e. latin, R&B, Funk, Jazz, etc.), very ok for ilonggo musicians... sympre, if bar-owner ka, its a matter of marketing as well as targetting the specific clientele one wants to attract... thus, if the music is 'geared' towards this "cerebral music", supposedly ang ma-attract nya would be the college kids, yuppies, serious lovers of music...

let's face it- a serious business owner's 1st focus is to gain money- negosyo eh... so sympre, he'd need to choose what 'crowd' he'd wna attract... depende tlga sa demographics eh... case in point- if a bar is plain "hard rock", who'd be its clientele? on one end, if a bar is more for the eclectic music i.e. R&B, jazz, reggae, etc. take note of its clients- mas varied, mas "mature" (NOT necessarily 'old/tigulang' ha... ), and these are supposedly those 'willing to pay more' for good service/music... and more often, these aint the "rowdy" kind that's quite something abhorred by bar/resto owners...

yup, sa mga bar owners, it business eh... you can't blame them... they have to earn man...

amo na kis-a hesitant man ang iban nga bars mag pa gamit sang lugar nila for gigs/concerts kay bal-an nila nga ang makad2 is mga pawasak... hehehe...
